Day one started bight and ealy (well 9am) at The Difference.

Bart kicked things off with a quick welcome breifing

and a brainstorming warm up activity.

Justin from The Difference divided the particpants into 3 teams to build three Rube Goldberg Machines, which was a lot of fun

Especially when it came time to inegrate the three machines into a single device.

After some hands on team work we took some time to reflect on best practices in teams and think about how to create our own high performing teams.

Participants branstormed consumer focused business ideas

And also B2B business concepts

Then everyone had an opportunity to stand up and say which ideas they were passionate about and describe the skills they could bring to a team

Then the serious discussions began about what the ideas and who the teams would be.

The day ended with the formal definition of the 4 business concepts and teams.
